Farm Waste Management Scheme Deadline Extended By Minister Mary Coughlan T.D.

Fianna Fail Councillor Christy O’Sullivan has welcomed the news that Minister Mary Coughlan T.D. has now agreed to extend the deadline for submission of additional information and any outstanding drawings with regard to applications made to her department under the Farm Waste Management Scheme.
Cllr. O’Sullivan stated that he was aware that a number of farmers, and their consultants, were having difficulties in submitting the additional information to the Department of Agriculture by the original deadline of the end of March 2007. Accordingly, this deadline has now been extended to Friday, 29 June 2007 to facilitate the large number of applicants for this grants scheme.
